Thomas Northcote is a fairly well known maker. He worked for Thomas Chawner so can be considered to have been involved in the Chawner company. His first mark was entered as a spoon-maker on 20th August 1776. Thomas Northcote died on 22nd May 1798 and his widow, (Hannah Northcote), entered her mark on his death, on 6th June 1798. Thomas Northcote registered a number of marks as a buckle-maker.
