This particular pair of tongs are dated 1816/17 so could in fact have been made by any of the three makers. I have assigned them to Napthali Hart as we know for certain he was working at this time, whereas we don't know for certain when Hannah Northcote and Henry Nutting actually finished. They are dated 15 years after Hannah Northcote's last registered mark and 6 years after Henry Nutting's last registered mark.

The tongs are completely plain except for an elaborate monogram but have a journeyman's mark next to the maker's mark.
