This particular pair of tongs are dated 1812/13 so could in fact have been made by any of the three makers. I have assigned them to Napthali Hart as we know for certain he was working at this time, whereas we don't know for certain when Hannah Northcote and Henry Nutting actually finished.

The tongs are completely plain but have a journeyman's mark next to the maker's mark.
