These tongs are a pair of flared, bright cut tongs. The shoulders are cut in and they have a sideways engraved monogram. The bowls are oval and engraved to look like acorns. Notice that this maker's mark has a clear pellet between the W and T. They are probably dated between 1780 and 1784.
