These are an interesting pair of tongs. They have a double thread edge and are fiddle pattern. The fiddle pattern is slightly different in that the top half of the arms is curved rather than the normal more angular style. The tops of the thread edge are curved into a nice inverted "V" shape. These tongs are dated 1806/07. They are in excellent condition although they do have some verdigris marks. They weigh 50.7 grams.
