This is another pair of bright cut tongs. The pattern is fascinating and I would think it has been "engine turned", i.e. created using a machine rather than by hand. This is not unusual but it is a little unusual this early. They have a crest of an arm wielding a sword. They have a squared and concave bow. Unfortunately both bowls are slightly battered. These tongs are 5.1/2 inches long but still a fairly hefty weight at 35.8 grams. They are dated 1803/04.
