This particular pair of tongs is bright cut engraved with a delightful diamond shaped edge to the arms. The bowl has a lovely swirling pattern that is most unusual. These tongs are of quite a thick guage silver and are in superb condition with the bright cut engraving still being particularly sharp. They are dated 1786 - 1790.
