Thomas Streetin registered his first mark on 15th August 1794, as a plate-worker, going on to register other marks up to 1820. He had been apprenticed to John Lambe, who was a prolific maker of sugar tongs. The first of Thomas Streetin's marks was in a rectangular punch in 1794. He then registered a circular or oval punch in 1798. He appeared to have been registering circular and rectangular punches at the same time. Click on a picture for more details |
