These are a fairly standard style of bright cut tongs, normal for the period. They have a straight side to the top half of the arms, similar to those of Stephen Adams. You can clearly see that the maker's mark has been overstruck but unfortunately cannot see who the actual maker was. They are dated 1794/95.
