This a gorgeous pair of tongs with a highly unusual small protrusion near the bowls.  They are beautifully made with a serated edge to the arms. They were made in three parts, with the bow being soldered on to the two arms. This style only really occured during the transition between cast and standard sugar tongs. The maker's mark is very clear.
