Peter & William Bateman tongs date from 8^th November 1805 to 15^th February 1815. With Peter & William, we start to see significant change to the previous Bateman styles, reflecting the more general change in style of silverware of the time. We still have many of the same styles and designs as with Peter & Ann and with Peter, Anne & William, but there are also some big differences.
