This pair of tongs is completely plain, with slightly angled edges. This is a very common style for the Batemans. What makes them interesting is that they are just 4 inches long, but they are still in perfect proportion so they appear exactly like a normal pair of tongs until you actually see them. The 1.½ inches size reduction is very noticeable! These tongs are all in one piece with no breaks where they may have been shortened.
