This pair of tongs have the date letter �O�, dating them between 31^st August 1809, (when they first registered the mark together), and 29^th May 1810. The maker's mark is the earlier mark, in the oval cartouche. They are a simple plain pair of tongs but have a lovely monogram of a stag with a branch in his mouth.
