Josiah Williams & Co. is recorded as a Bristol silver-smith dating between 1874 and 1883. These tongs are dated 1878 and are a delightful pair of tongs with a lovely clear engraved pattern. They are sharply tapered and have a nice engraved cartouche for the monogram.
