Thomas Lamborn registered a mark on March 28^th 1776. Apart from Thomas Law, this is the only Sheffield maker of this period with the maker’s mark of “TL”. The style of his tongs is fairly typical of Sheffield makers. They are quite large and tend to be flared and bright cut.
