These tongs have a simple double thread edge around the arms, with the now familiar circular bowl, not quite as heavily engraved as with the other tongs. They are blessed with the Prince of Wales feathers over a crown as a monogram. Did they belong to the then Prince of Wales? I have dated them at c1780.
