These are a gorgeous, and very unusual pair of tongs, being marked on the outside. No-one really knows why tongs were occasionally marked on the outside of the arms, rather than inside, but it is only very rarely seen. Once again these are beautifully made tongs. This time the bright cut engraving extends around the bowls and they have an engraved monogram that is cut diagonally on the bow - this is also very rarely seen.
