These are a superb pair of early bright cut tongs with a flared shape to the arms and an Adam style engraved chain of flowers to the sides of the arms. They have a delightful shaped acorn bowl. Sadly one arm is slightly out of shape, otherwise they are a stylish early pair of bright cut tongs. They are dated 1782-1784.
