John McFerlan registered a mark on 13^th March 1762 as a small-worker. He then registered three other marks as a buckle-maker between 1777 and 1784. He then registered a mark as a plate-worker and another incuse mark on 9^th May 1786. His mark is very distinctive as the M & F are conjoined.
