Edward Fairbrother entered three marks, first as a buckle-maker on 24th May 1792. His second mark was as a small-worker on 11th March 1793.  His last mark was entered as a plate-worker on 18th September 1804. These tongs are dated 1803, when he was still registered as a small-worker. They are plain sugar tongs with a double thread edge and a nice engraved monogram. The maker's mark is poorly struck and worn, making it unclear whether this is really Edward Fairbrother.
