These tongs are completely plain, which is normal for this period when bright cut engraving was out of fashion. They have a very elaborate monogram that appears to be "MAS" over "MB". Notice also that the makers mark has changed again. It is now in a rectangular punch with a pellet between the letters. They are dated 1819/20.
