These are another pair of lovely shaped, bright cut tongs. They have cut-in shoulders and the characteristic three protrusions at the tops of the arms. They have circular bowls but these have only a fairly standard engraved pattern on them. These tongs have the expected hallmark seen on sugar tongs with the date letter in a small cartouche, surmounted by a crown. They have the incuse duty mark, dating them at 1785. They also have a somewhat skew wiff marriage or betrothal monogram.
