silver-smith company at this time. The mark is that of John Prince, Robert Cattle and George Cattle I.  This group were working together between 1804 and 1807 and were so named after John Hampston was no longer part of the company. These tongs are a superb example of bright cut engraved tongs, being highly unusual in that they are only just over 4inches in length.
