James Barber, George Cattle & William North worked together between 1828 and 1835. This mark followed on from that of James Barber & Co. These tongs are of standard fiddle pattern but have noticeably pointed bowls. Notice the small crescent shape above the maker's mark, probably a journey-man's mark.
