George Murray worked between 1805 and 1816. He registered two marks, one in an oval punch and one in a rectangular punch with cut corners. Again sugar tongs by this maker are quite rare. These tongs are bright cut, feather edged with a nice fluted pattern to the top half of the bowls. The makerís mark is struck on both arms. Again dating is difficult, they could be dated any time during the period he was working.
